So a symptom of anti depressants is...depression? [hmm]

And also suicidal thoughts? I'm thinking of citraopran. I need it but I'm very skeptical about these side effects. Jus rely there are other ways than tablets?

Basically when you are very depressed you can have suicidal thoughts but be too low to do anything about them.

Initially AD's 'lift' your mood so you feel more able to do things, unfortunately that can include feeling able to commit suicide if you've been too low to do so before.

Then they start to make you feel happier so you shouldn't WANT to commit suicide.

They take several weeks to work properly.

Many depressed people don't have suicidal thoughts anyway so it's not a side effect that's relevant to them.
