I thought I had all our money sorted and that all the creditors had been sorted out so why have I received 3 letters today threatening court action? The house looks like a bomb has hit it. The kids are driving me up the wall. Working till gone midnight 3 times a week and 9 hours on saturdays is meaning that I am getting seriousley sleep deprived.

If I could pay off some of the debts I would feel better.

Any ideas on how to boost my income? I work part time and can't increase my hours due to childcare issues.

Not good today. The people who involved social services in my life are in the area visiting other members of my family today. I am frantically trying to tidy up the mess made by dh and the kids yesterday whilst I was at work. Am anticipating a knock on the door. DH is out teaching karate this morning and instructed me not to open the door if they do turn up but to call him straight away. Sounds daft but I am a nervous wreck.

hi mummyhill..what happend?, did this person come to yours?
how are you feeling?

mummyhill · 21/08/2006 12:08

Luckily they stayed away. Although I am sure we will hear all about them and what they have to say about many issues when we see mil on Friday!!!

I am being naughty and increasing my thyroxine by 25mcg without telling gp. If this improves my moods etc then I shall fess up and see if they wil prescribe me the extra 25mcg/day. If it doesn't help I shall request to go back on the AD's for a bit.

be carefiul, i have weaned myself off tabs before, but not weaned up..you dont know what effect this could have as it may contribute to you low mood?..try and speak to doc over phone or ask receptio is they cana sk for you?

mummyhill · 21/08/2006 13:36

It's different with the thyroxine and the blood tests aren't an exact science for it. I have to take thyroxine for life. If my levels are low it can make me seriousley ill and if I stop taking it and leave it untreated long enough I would slip into a comma. I have been on 150mcg/day before and functioned really well. They lowered my dosage 6 months ago and I have slowly got worse.

i still think you should check first as you say differences in dose/stopping can cause serious probs

mummyhill · 21/08/2006 13:52

The worst that can happen is that my metabolism will speed up a bit. I know what to look out for and if I have an adverse reaction all I need to do is drop the dose again. I have had this condition for 15 years now and have had to prove the doctors wrong with regard to my dosages before now.
