I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can look for information on research done into the effects on a child 4years plus who had a younger sibling born with health problems which required frequent and prolonged periods in hospital?
My sibling was born when I was 4 and almost died a few times. I saw some horrific stuff and have some issues now which I'm thinking may possibly be related.
Our mum obviously had to prioritise my sibling and spent lots of time - including overnight - in hospital by the bedside.
My sibling has had 20 + operations so lots of hospital talk, visits, worry and upset over the years.
Any thoughts appreciated.
