Citalopram and hair falling out ?anyone else?

I've been taking citalopram since June , was raised from 10mg to 20mg in July. It's been working so well for me however since the past month my hair is coming out by the handful , I've got only half the head of hair I had before. I'm sure it the citalopram. I'm
Off to GP today , I'm going to have to come off of it as I'm getting bald patches :(

Oh hunny I had this from depakote. It's really scary isn't it? Just thought I'd mention that it takes a few months after you've stopped for the hair loss to stop.

I'm on 6 week's post stopping and while it's slowed it hasn't stopped yet. It may be different fir you as mine was caused by depakote not citalopram.

Try not to stress as it will cause more hair loss easier said than done I know.
