you are amazing, don't forget that. 3 beautiful girls who you are raising by yourself at the mo, and your lovely peter who would be lost without you. See your GP, and ask someone to give you some help and have some you time if poss x x{{hugs}}

Misdee - I can honestly say that I would be surprised if you weren't depressed! You have a lot on your plate.

its trying to get to see the GP tho. I managed to get my dd's an appointment on monday with the nurse by queuing up at 8am at the surgery. i couldnt get a GP's appointment for a suitable time, as the 40people in front of me had booked in.

Dont they release the appointments on the phones at set times ?if not take an emergency appointment ,you deserve to be seen.

misdee · 06/06/2006 23:01

they release appointments at 8.30 on the phone. you spend over an hour trying to get through (or 2hours some mornings) to be told all appointments are gone.

Hi misdeeSmile
How are you doing today?,i missed your last post last night.Surely there must be some appointments?even if you argue for one?mind you when you feel so down and stressed it is an effort cope with anything, so i can understand if it is difficult for you .It seems as though we have to fight for everything these days!
Can you change your Gp? or ask to speak to him/her via phone?
I really hope things improve for you misdee!
I wouldn't be able to cope as admirably as you .xxxx

i'm ok today. have finally sat down. lol. its all go from tomorrow, off to harefield, then off on hols friday, so will see GP when i get back if i dont feel better. I dont feel depressed/stressed all the time, its just every now and then it hits me, this is real, the machine is real and i have to deal with it. and its like a bolt of lightening each time. people say 'how do you cope?' but to me its now a normal part of our lives and i dont give it much thought anymore. its when i give it thought, that it gets to me IYKWIM.

Glad you feel a bit better todaySmile.
It's understandable that you get stressed from time to time, because everyone has a breaking point and you need an outlet to express yourself.
Where are you going on holiday?i do hope you at least get a rest from mundane housechores etc.
I think you should see your gp regardless of how you feel after the hol,at least he/she will be aware of how you feel sometimes and may offer you a bit more support.
Anyway any time you want a chat just shout!
xxx
