Adult aspergers support thread

Are there any other adult aspies out there who are interested in a mutual support thread for general chat and stuff? Day to day I feel I do ok but there are some things that bother me. It would be good to have others to chat to.

Well I think we should stick with this thread :)

bumping think my ex has AS (which is why I was attracted to him), however this did not stop him being an abusive arse not a very nice man, who thought he was right all the time, this is why he is an Ex.

OTOH my DM left my DF (though they are still friends) because he was manifesting so many traits (she doesn't agree he has AS though)

My ex was probably aspie, he was definitely an arse. My DH isn't, but that is probably just coincidence!

Just thought I'd do a quick update, even though I wasn't the OP. I dragged myself through the snow to the GP last week, feeling very nervous but determined to get my referral. After a quick, relaxed chat the doctor said yes, she was happy to refer me. I'm very relieved that this first step went so well. Has anyone else had any developments?
