Hi,
I'm hoping this is okay to post here - if not, please let me know and I will delete the post - I don't want to cause any problems.

I am a Mumsnet member, currently relying very heavily on the Pregnancy forum while expecting my first baby. I have also been diagnosed as having AS which led to an interest in how other adults come to recognise themselves as having ASC and how they make decisions about diagnosis. As a result, I am now doing a PhD focuing on how adults come to identify as having AS/ASC; why they choose to seek or not to seek a diagnosis and how those who do seek a diagnosis experience this.

As I have spotted a couple of threads on here relating to AS, I was wondering if anyone might like to participate in this research. It basically involves completing a short questionnaire and then taking part in an interview via e-mail, Skype or possible face-to-face (depending on location). If anyone might be interested, please PM me, or drop me an e-mail: [email protected]. Details of the ethical approval for this study, as well as a full explanation of the research aims and objectives will be provided.

Once again, I am really sorry if this is posted in the worng place. I will willingly move it/ delete it is necessary.

Many thanks
