I kind of caught your thread about disabilty threads gone wrong, but I don't really go in AIBU so I missed what happened, I think it's a bloody shame because you are so good on the MH boards and I think a lot of people will miss your support and advice. Could you consider just staying on MH boards and nowhere else?

Madmouse I have no idea what is going on/has gone on due to a little baby taking up most of my time. However, I am so thankful for your support when I furst came to MN and these MH threads, through some very dark days myself.

I am sorry to read that things have greatly distressed you. I hope you are ok and you carry on your own journey of recovery. x

You've helped me a lot although you probably won't know it so thank you on behalf of myself and the others you have given comfort to in our times of need.

Really sorry it has come to this and hope the upset you have been caused isn't lasting.

No idea what's been going on (been busy recently) but madmouse you have helped me too (I have NC'd). Have a and if you go I hope things outside MN are good for you.

I have no idea what's been going on but will be very sorry to see you go - I've lurked a lot on MH due to problems a family member has had, and have always been so impressed by the level of support and knowledge you've shown.

I'm sorry you feel like that, I know you've helped many, many, people in their darkest days.

Madmouse , sorry wasn't around last week to see your thread about the way Mn has long been handling disability rights . FWIW I totally agree with you and with posters on that thread who say that this shocking year or so on Mn has had led to some positive change .

Thank you for your tireless work on these matters , and though I absolutely hate to see you feeling you have to leave , I can see why there seems to be no option I think a lot of Mners are strongly questioning their membership or have already drifted away .

I hope you'll still be able to find a way to share support and friendship ... so sorry for the stress this has caused you .

madmouse you don't know me as mostly I lurk but I just wanted to say that you are one of the posters who have consistently been a comfort for me when I have been having a bad day. When feeling "raw" I look out for your screenname. I've often thought, that there are some internet "angels" who have their own kind of ministry on the boards they frequent and that they get far less publicity than the brasher bitchier voices, but have in RL much more influence on the people who read their words.
I haven't been following the offending threads so do not know what has been said to hurt you but I do know that posters on MN can be very harsh, insensitive and clueless sometimes and have no idea how badly people can be hurt. I hope you find some comfort in the warm wishes of other people who I suspect are far more representative of MN as a whole.
