I've not put on weight with any antidepressant I've had and I've taken citalopram, reboxetine, seroxat, venlafaxine and amitriptyline.

Oh, I'm lying I've put weight on with all of them but it's been down to my crap eating habits and laziness and not medication.

The only drugs that make you put on weight are steroids. Some medications, like ADs, might change your hunger levels, but if you watch what you eat, then you will be fine.

I don't find losing weight easy, but have managed to lose weight (healthily with slimming world) on ADs. Just have to be careful of WHAT you eat if you are hungrier.

That's not strictly true about meds only changing your hunger levels. I took olanzapine and it made me balloon in weight and my eating habits didn't change at all. It's notorious for it. I've refused to take it ever again, except perhaps for a couple of days if absolutely necessary.

Obviously olanzapine isn't an anti-d. Just wanted to say that some meds do make you put on weight and it has nothing to do with what you eat.
