everything he does annoys me. I even find the way he is with the kids irritating although if it was anyone else I wouldn't find it so. I am not attracted to him, he has no motivation or get up and go whatsoever. He has no dedication to his job, he only seems to come to life after a drink. He flits money away on pointless things as he seems to expect money to come to him without working for it. His mum and dad have always been a bit flush and they have helped him out far too much in the past (before me) and i think he finds thatan easy way out. He wants a bigger house but has taken a lower paid job!? he pretends he is something bigger and better than he is in front of people.

Sorry for rantng but he really in getting on my nerves. I prefer it when he isn't in the house.

have you talked to him about it?

unhappywife · 15/01/2006 21:51

yes but he just says "oh right then fine" and leaves it at that. I end up crying or shouting at him and he just goes quiet and won't talk to me. we have a serious lack of communication! I do try i really do.

There is clearly something deeper going on here - an underlying cause or reason for why you find him annoying, and annoying above everyone/thing else.

Do you want him out but dont want to upset "family life"? Do you feel like he's holding you back in your life/career/other relationships?

have you thought about trying something like relate? maybe he would talk more if there was someone else there helping it along?
