Mumofjust1 - you're trying, you're not a failure.

Having horrendous day, dd has highest temp she's ever had and medicine isn't doing much. She's only 16m so took her too ooh but they said virus which presumably means ds will catch it and miss yet more bloody school. He has friends coming for tea this week too, one tomorrow so I have to do that whilst dealing with dd, dh is working obviously, can't reschedule as ds not liking school at min and he's been really looking forward to this. I'm so tired and my head is aching and I know therell be no sleep for me tonight. Feel like shit mum thinking of myself :( also always worry when kids are ill anyways but when dd is ill I worry in case something terrible happens and it'll be my fault cos though I loved her from day 1 we didn't bond immediately in the same way ds and I did.

Sorry for offloading.

Thanks liveinazoo and left x x

Hugs to you both and sorry your little ones are unwell x

We're all trying our best, which is all we can do - and being up all night with sick kids is exhausting, so don't be too hard on yourselves.

Hope they're all right as rain very soon xx

I just power through it and try and imagine someones watching me - I know that sounds stupid but I mean like supernanny or my mum or someone equally judgemental!

Dd up all night. Poor thing.

Liveinazoo - I'm not an insomniac, I have an elderly dog who wakes me up at all hours, and when I can't go back to sleep I browse here!

I'm feeling bad today - had to leave work 10 mins early as I felt so sick and got so panicky Sad my boss is aware that I suffer with anxiety and panic, and have been great so far.

If I'm having a bad day, it's a struggle, but I have to work or I have no money. I have got a high sickness rate but I have migraines which account for most of my absences.

I used to find it hard sometimes to get my dd to primary school - some mornings I was rigid with panic and could hardly talk to her. I felt absolutely awful about it. It was better once I learned to drive though.
