please help,run out of meds,what do i do?!

i know,i know,im an idiot,i thought i had another strip left,but theyre all gone,i was supposed to ake one last night,but i have none left...my dr's are not open,what do i do?
how do i get a re prescription on a saturday?!

Try nhs direct and put in your postcode
find your nearest

Ask them to phone your regular pharmacist if you have one and authorize a repeat prescription

they didnt seem best pleased,but i'll get a call back in 2 hours or so.

they called back,i got a bit of a lecture,but i can pick up my prescription in an hour

The person on the other end of the phone is just annoyed because they are working on a weekend not because of you. The Dr is on call for a reason, get your meds and don't worry about them

Hey if the service isn't used it will be cut as they have just done down here think of it as keeping someone in a job

For the future - if you have the empty packaging and you go to your regular chemist who has you on their system they can actually give you some to tide you over. You may be asked to answer some questions from the pharmacist.
