Last week I went to MAU and was told that I should have a csection and a bit early as I have really bad HMS and there could be bad damage to my body if I birth naturally, they also referred me to the care team as I am not coping with the pain...

Yesterday, I went to my hospital appt and was told by the consultant she doesn't see why there would be any risks and that she would want to induce me at 38 weeks.

The conflicting advice is making me far more depressed than I was and I am now terrified of the damage that could be caused to my body.

I don't know what to do anymore, please help.

If I were in your situation, i would ask for another opinion/go to another hospital .I think if they are giving conflicting advice either they are not very good or they just do not know. I would not like to be in your shoes-poor you-so i would seek another opinion at a hospital that specialises in maternity -you need to be somewhere where they do know really what they are doing .Also you need to make sure any medicines you aretaking do not harm your baby .

I seen the physio today, a different one from who I normally see and she was lovely and completely understood my condition and the situation I am in and has offered to be an advocate at my Consultant appts. She also informed me that the Consultant I am going to see on Weds is very knowledgeable on my condition as well. :)

My appt came today for perinatal though and it's not for over a month! Infact it's a week before the latest time that they will section/induce me so not seeing much point in that and quite frankly a bit pissed off. Angry

PutThatBookDown This is the best hospital in the City and is also a teaching hospital. There is no where else I could go that would know more. :( Also I don't drive and am at risk of rapid labour so can't really go any further and the nearest hospital after that is a 20 minute drive.
