I'm meant to be going to a cooking class, then on to Relate. I'm full of panic. The class is meant to be my thing to make me go out. If I take the tranquilliser, I run the risk of getting lost (I'm awful at finding places/catching the right bus as it is) but if I don't, I run the risk of getting massiviely panicy and whatever. I also am meant to go to Relate by myself today, but the woman will only see me if I don't get upset.

I'm not even sure I have any tranquillisers left tbh - would one sleeping pill work?

I'm sat here shaking and feeling sick and I've not even left the house.

Or is it utterly foolish to take just one coedine (after reading the pain pills thread on her eBlush but I'm only talking about taking one, and I have them anyway for when my hips are bad)

I just need to take the edge off this awful anxiety, but I really need to go to these things, and then I need to look after the kids. ARGH.

:( I'm sick of this. Yesterdays class was me, a chatty pensioner and a woman with downs syndrome, and I was shaking. I used to stand up in front of 200 other students without a second thought.

I was being upset that I couldn't work, but if I can't even go along to a basic class, what is the bloody point?

ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH

Can you stop being so angry with yourself? You didn't ask to be ill did you?

Don't start taking codeine to calm down - that's asking for addiction.

Don't you have some Rescue Remedy you can take.

And a combination of a class you find stressful and a session at relate seems a bit much. You should probably prioritise relate if you can only do one.

Why are you taking tranquillizers? I would have thought you would be on an ongoing drug such as fluoxetine to keep you calm. I think you need to go back to the doctor's and get your meds updated. Fluoxetine is very calming and is very helpful for feeling panicky when you are out.
