hello. I've been prescribed CitalopRam for depression (developed vision problems I'm struggling yo cope with) but am scared to take it as I had bad side effects from Seoxat years ago. I remember reeling very dizzy and odd. I'm also scared Citalopram may make my vision blurred. Can anyone reassure me / advise me about their experience?

I have been on citalopram for almost 2 weeks now and apart from very mild side effects (slight headache, tummy upset,) I have been fine. I'm hoping to feel better though, because I feel a bit flat.

Seroxat is not good stuff. I've taken Citilopram before and whilst it made me a little spacey at first, it was good.

I took Seroxat many years ago and was always light headed. I came off it and decided not to continue with any ADs as ADs should always be used as short term relief. I did councelling which helped loads. Ads for me carried far too many side effects.
