Yes, a long time ago. I wouldn't know where to get it now though.

Doctors are loathe to prescribe drugs like diazepam. When you are anxious is it feasible to take a long walk or some other exercise to tire you out? Distraction is also good - anything that will take your mind off the anxiety. I do really sympathise with you because I have anxiety too and it is an awful feeling once it starts to accelerate. Please don't buy drugs on line. The people who run those websites are crooks, they may well send you anything which might harm you. You also put yourself at risk of fraud by sharing payment card and personal information.

@GollyHolightly

I'm also wondering why they gave you such a small amount and I think they may be worried about you misusing it, for whatever reason. I have diazepam, not for anxiety (although I have that too, I take propranolol for it) but for when things in life become extremely stressful and I need to zone out for a while. I don't have a regular prescription for it, but the doc seems happy enough to prescribe it when I ask, once he's checked that from my records that I'm not taking it regularly. I usually get about thirty 10mg tablets at a time!
Your GP is verging on being negligent prescribing you that many 10mg tablets all at once.

I take propranolol and buspirone and they did help at first but I'm finding that I'm slowly getting worse again. I'm definitely going to go back to my gp on Monday and I'm waiting for a call back from the crisis team.

I won't really get diazepam online, I just feel so desperate for some relief sometimes.

I so get the siting at the end of the row in the cinema! Otherwise you're just totally hemmed in!!

I have and it really helped I can tell u what website if you like x

diazepam for anxiety is a very quick route to addiction to benzos and anxiety

I hate the GP’s reluctantly to prescribe benzodiazepines in this country. I had severe anxiety for the whole of my adult life and It wasn’t until I was basically sectioned that they prescribed me lorazepam alongside other stuff. I now have unlimited access to lorazepam. It’s great stuff and works amazingly as a last resort and I don’t find it addictive at all. I have boxes of it in the cupboard as I seldom even feel the need to take it anymore. I would not buy online, find a local drug dealers.. more accountability as they want return customers.

Whoops. Just realised this thread is over a decade old! Really hope you are doing well now OP! x

Yes, but you can get it on prescription from European doctors/ pharmacies shipped here. I'm lucky though that I can get frequent prescriptions for sedatives after seeing a psychiatrist
