Not sure where to post, so starting here.

My little cousin,15, has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The family is not coping, I don't think they have been explained what it is exactly either.
I found this in the UK, www.mdf.org.uk/index.aspx?o=56861, but their site seems to go in circles. Is there any better site?
Also the teenager is american/french, anybody knows about help for indirect family like GP, uncles... in the US and in France?
or heard of an international association that could have all the infos needed?
TIA

This is good for helping people understand and deal with someone who has bipolar.

A lot of education here even though British it is very informative and will build a comprehensive knowledge.

Thanks both of you.
That canadien site is very good crawling plus it has the french translation!
Anybody knows about a parent of bipolar's association or support group? The one I have found googling are really nice and/or helpful.

here this is a forum for parents of bipolar children it is in English though and it is mostly for parents to vent, it also has some information and support as having been a bipolar teen myself I know how difficult we can sometimes be and I am sure they have a hard journey but I dont know any French groups sorry.

www.sun-cornwall.com/

This is a brilliant website and has a lovely video of a young woman talking of her BPD and how she was supported, helped and has come to terms with it.I hope it might be useful.
