Any recommendations for natural ways of dealing with anxiety?

There's a lot going on at the minute - new house, sleep-refusing 6 month old, 2 other kids, lots to sort/do. I'm generally prone to mild anxiety which I can usually manage.

I'm feeling it all getting on top of me and I know that lack of sleep isn't helping. Don't feel it's serious enough to see a doc but that it's more than I can control. It's starting to affect my judgement and enjoyment of things. Last night I couldn't get to sleep despite being shattered!

Has anyone got any advice for natural supplements or anything else that could help??

Exercise is the best thing for everything.

Camomile tea and Bach's rescue remedy.
If you breast feed the camomile tea may help the baby sleep too.
Good luck - I have been there - it gets better. :)

Thanks. Kids ill and snow means we've hardly been out of the house let alone doing usual walks to school and town. Will try and get out tomorrow.

Camomile tea is a good idea - especially if you think it might help the baby sleep!

Would also agree with Rescue Remedy.

To help 'switch off' a bit,in order to sleep, 'Kalms' are good, they contain the herb Valerian. If you try them i'd suggest taking less then the stated dose though, as i know the 3 or 4 they recommend make me a bit groggy in the morning.
