CBT bloke never rang me today - it was meant to be my first session....

I realised I'd left my mobile at home and was at my parent's sorting their mail and food before they came home from holiday and so I rang his office to leave the landline with them.

The secretary said she'd pass it on - it was 90m before he was due to ring...

He never rang and there's no missed calls at home or on my mobile...

WTF?! That isn't exactly helping my condition now, is it!

So, was he meant to call you for a session? Why couldn't yu go in person? I'm not sure CBT over the phone would be a huge help tbh. Call first thing on Monday and arrnge a time to see him face to face.

I fidn it quite an odd concept pixie, unless there's a reason the OP can't be there in person. I'm in CBT right now and can't imagine it having the same impact over the phone. MY therapist likes to draw little diagrams for a start Grin

it's how they do it here - I asked for face to face but the trust prefer phone... it's helping though as I have an issue about phones too so it kind of forces me to deal with it! (he doesn't know that though)

I'm ok - just annoyed
