And yes, the reminders that maintaining is important are gradually reaching my brain: I could easily have put on a stone in six months, and that hasn't happened.

That is a really great idea @ItRainsItPours general chit chat and people can note when they have a good weigh in as and when or if they want? Plus Christmas is a really good focus.

@HarpQuartet 1000% maintaining 3 stone or thereabouts weightloss is an even more amazing achievement than losing it. It is so much harder when the scale doesn’t give that little boost. Is it 90% of people regain within a year, but for those that don’t regain the weightloss is likely to be permanent? You are both definitely an inspiration.

I haven’t lost as much as that but my weightloss got rid of plantar fasciitis, indigestion and brought my blood pressure back to the good range. It also saved me money as I didn’t have to continue buying bigger and bigger clothes. Actually it’s really helpful to remember those types of things - hope I can keep that in mind.

@Fouramclub enjoy your holiday and delicious French croissants 😍

I decided to be impulsive and start a thread 😃

I have noticed lots of benefits to loosing weight. Almost too many to mention but the most important are;

booking things without worrying if I will fit/be comfortable in the seats
cutting my toenails leisurely as i am more supple
feeling very slim because i fit in my smallest clothes
being more active and able to walk up hills

I’m sure there are more but those are the ones that come to mind.
