Just that really. For the moment we are minus 7 1/2 hours of hard swim training and no sports fixtures at school.

I am sure the sports centres will close shortly.

Does anybody know about those things you can put on bikes to make them indoor?

I've not looked for 1980s aerobics videos on Youtube, but I hope not to have to do this.

My ds 14 does triathlon and will be really fidgety without. At least he can go running and cycling, also we have a basic turbo for bike. He does a press up app and is up to about 80 a day from Christmas (!) So maybe find some apps for them to challenge themselves. The club will be putting some things together for them soon I think.

Running outside isn't banned nor cycling, not even in Italy or Spain

Yes it is. You're in the house and can only leave alone and to go to shops/medical centre or to walk the dog within 50m of your house. Sole parents have had to go to the shops with kids but otherwise kids usually don't leave the home at all.

Skipping rope if you have a garden, get brilliant at different routines.
Gym ball
YouTube Zumba routines
I used to do circuit training in the house- tricep dips on the bottom stair etc.

I obviously caught Decathlon online and some Amazon small shops at a quiet time. Kit is either on it's way or just delivered!

It looks as if I will be rearranging the ground floor to accommodate a turbo trainer, yoga mat, music stand, dun bell. Hopefully the weather will improve so I can retreat to the garden!

Hope everyone stays fit, well and sane.

DS2's fencing coach is very keen on skipping!

All organised sports are on hold too.
Every single proper sport club is closed. The kids used to have a swimming lesson at a local pool in town on Monday afternoon. The club owner recently emailed all members families to tell them of the impending closure. I now basically improvise however. I have seen a few families playing tennis at a local park. I also ordered a skipping rope on Amazon earlier this month to use at home.
We try to do some form of exercise each day. We do lots of star jumps at home. I also get the kids out of the house on a family nature walk on most days too. I have even dusted off our bikes in storage this week as we are going cycling tomorrow.
