Road bike - I did 26km today ;-)

First outing on my Dolce - did 26km. Loved it. First time using SPD's too. Only fell off once when I couldn't unclip my left foot in time, but did it with style!

Anyone else cycling? Is there a thread?

Good job with the SPDs too I know they're 'dangerous' sometimes!

I'm trying to find a way to get out cycling. My goal is to be able to do 90miles in one day. Not sure how I'm going to manage training with my 14m and no one to watch her during the day (except weekends). But I'm exploring options.

Yay! I've got a dolce too, rather nice aren't they.... although I'm crap and rather dangerous with SPD's, so back to normal pedals for me at the moment.

trek here and not got out much this month after geting 400 miles in last month, though not all on my road bike some on my other light weight tourer.

I am hoping to get some miles in next month... as want to do 4 days riding covering 200 miles with one day off inbetween

where are you in the country and how do you plan your routes?

ohh - just spotted this. have just bought a dolce and waiting for it to be ready to go pick up. Am a bit scares of the clip in pedals....are they really easy to learn to use?

i'm going to be commuting into work on mine hopefully....
