Anyone actually kept at it?

What games/programmes are good?

Would i be better splashing out on some old fashioned fitness equipment?

I'd recommend it. It's easy to spend just a few minutes a day on it which should be enough to make a difference to your fitness. Get in from work, throw on joggers and a t shirt, do 30 mins. Shower and change. Done in 45 minutes. If you have equipment you have to find space to store it then getting it out everyday becomes a hassle, or you leave it out and you get tired of looking at it (esp if you miss a couple of days)

When I was having trouble conceiving I went on the GI diet and bought a wii.

I lost nearly 5 stone in 6 months. Then fell pregnant. But I know what to do to get the baby weight off when I'm ready to do it.

I love mine. It's too early to have done much (6 weeks) and I don't do it every day but I do the Body Test most days and will often have a little jog - you can go for a "jog" (jog on the spot with remote in pocket) while watching tv. The balance games are most fun, imo - ski jump, ski slalom, snowboard slalom, bird's nest bullseye . The only thing missing, for me, is a "walking around Wuhu Island" game where you could wander at will, exploring the island. Or perhaps "hire a boat and sail to Wedge Island" . Perhaps in the next upgrade to the game?

According to Which you can burn more calories doing 30mins of house work compared to 30mins on the Wii fit....but I suspect that Wii fit is more fun.
