Anyone fancy an 8k race

If you have tried the Race for Life races and want to further the distance and your challenge why not try the Running4Women Windsor 8k in September. It's a ladies only race with lovely surroundings; it takes place in the Windsor Great Park and the last 1 ½ miles you have Windsor Castle in front of you. There is a bouncy castle for the kids and refreshments to keep them busy while you run. I have run in it for the last 3 years and love the atmosphere. Enter are open all ready for this years race which is on Saturday 25th September 2010.

Started running not long ago and would like to have a go at running at an event. This one sounds lovely as I can take the children along too. Is it okay for a novice to do?
