What's better for shifting the lard on an elliptical (sp) ?

Lower level and faster RPM or higher level and slower RPM.

I don't want to build up my quads too much as I have chunky legs already.

I can't run as I have had knee ops in the past and I find the elliptical easier on my knees.

Any fat-shifting exercise advice welcomed

Are you all out running?

lower and faster

or in my case lower and slower but longer

Thanks. I have gone back down to level 4 (was at level 10) for the same amount of time - 30-45 minutes four times a week.

I will get chunky quads if it's too high a level, won't I?

use your arms more and concentrate on your pelvic floor and 'core' might take the pressure off your quads

Thanks.

My pelvic floor is more of a basement, though

You could do low/slow with 1 minute bursts of faster/ higher every say 5 mins.
