I am getting increasingly erratic (and frustrating) route mapping with my Garmin (Venu 2 and yes I know it’s not all singing/dancing but it has been very consistent over the three years I’ve had it and I like the watch). Has been pretty accurate until the last 6 months or so where each run looks like I’ve been running massively veering zig zags all the time which knocks my distance and pace way off. A recent 10k race I did measured nearly 11k on my watch and looked like I’d run the race drunk for example when in prior year same race measured 10.2k. It is set to GPS+GLONASS which was recommended for my location but am considering if I should switch to GPS+Galileo? Has anyone any views/experience with one over the other (for UK)? I live relatively suburban area. I mean I will give it a try before I call it a day and buy a new watch but just interested in others experience.
