Anyone else trying to stick to training during pregnancy?

Just a thread to see if anyone else out there is trying to stick to the exercise during pregnancy and how you're finding it?

I was pretty active pre-pregnancy - I did my first marathon in April, did Hyrox style classes and weight lifting. I stopped everything at around 6 weeks as I was told I had a hematoma, I'm 13 weeks now and the hematoma is gone so I've got the all clear to get back to it again.

I went out today for my first little run, I only did 2 miles and dropped the pace to around 45 seconds slower than my normal easy pace and I'm okay with that. Hoping to ease myself back into a Hyrox class but that feels like it might be much harder 🥵

It did feel so good to put my headphones on and get out the door after a few weeks of feeling like a total sloth.

Any advice from anyone who's been in the same boat?

Hi OP I trained throughout my twin pregnancy! Admittedly 8y ago now but I saw your thread didn't have replies, so
.

I got a pregnancy specific PT to do a plan with me and update once a month. One of the best investments ever. We worked on core stability in a way that wouldn't cause diastasis recti, when to stop running (28w for me), and how to swap barbell lifts into bodyweight exercises as the babies got heavier. I also developed a new love for the cross trainer and found it great - actually did a 40 min session on it the morning I was induced!

I would also say, plan your postpartum recovery now and look to start pelvic flooe recovery and super gentle core moves from Day 1 after giving birth. I am so grateful I did!
