London marathon.. anyone get their email?

Patiently waiting on my email from London marathon to see if I've got a ballot entry.. anyone else?

Double the chance this year although I'm not holding out much hope..

Ah yes the annual ritual of the London Marathon rejection! I applied year in year out. I got ballot places is 2011 and 2021 and did much the same time in both. I don’t run any more due to chronic illness but I wish I could. Good luck to those of you who do get places.

After saying id applied to some charities i was offered a charity place yesterday for the Saturday! Saturday was my preference so I can lie on the sofa on the Sunday and watch everyone else do it after me😂.

Enjoy every minute! That mentality is like saying only people that really need the money should enter the lottery to give me a chance on winning the euro millions raffle😂 crazy!

Dd1 has got in for the Sunday (first time entering the ballot the jammy git) and so it looks like it could be a double day marathon weekend for us if I do get in through good for age. From what I’ve heard good for age females will be on the Saturday. It’s going to be super hectic.

dd1 is thrilled. She does run and has run a couple of half’s in good times recently so she’s starting from a fairly good point.

Ah that will be such a fun weekend! Im going to stay the Friday night and leave Saturday after the run.

When do you find out about the good for age place?
