Exercise bulimia/extreme exercise?

Looking for some advice please. I'm concerned about someone in my family that I think may be exercising excessively. She is late 20s, and has been running for the past few years, but it's gone up a few notches. She has participated in marathons etc. I've been concerned about her weight for some time. When she was late teens, she had some struggles with food and restricted eating etc.
She has gotten a bit secretive with her running, she is downplaying the extent of it. Several family members have noticed this. Her mother has said it to her several times but on deaf ears which is probably understandable as most mothers are probably quick to be concerned that their daughter is losing too much weight. But other family members want to confront her and I'm concerned about this because obviously it's a very delicate subject and needs to be handled sensitively.
She is a beautiful girl, is highly educated with a great job, has a fabulous fiance and on the surface everything seems perfect in one sense.
From what I can tell, she is doing long runs every single day, seems to be restricting eating to some extent and has gotten very very thin. She got a chest infection a few months ago that took forever to get over, I can't help but feel her body wasn't in good shape or handle it.
Does anybody have any experience of dealing with this themselves or seeing a friend in the same boat, and how did you approach it?
Every time I tell myself I'm imagining it I remind myself of how many other people have also noticed the same thing. Her fiance has also noticed and he said she gets cross when he brings it up. I need to talk to him more about how this went as I don't have the details.
Any advice welcome please

It sounds like she's lost enough weight and is exercising intensely enough to lose her period due to RED-S. It's particularly hard with long distance running because it's a very fine margin between being light making it easier and being too thin. However, if she's stopped cycling she'll be at much greater risk of tendon injuries and stress fractures. This is probably the only way you might get through to her - in order to continue exercising at that level she needs the protection that oestrogen provides, and if she's also at the point of suppressing her thyroid hormones her repair will be minimal too so any damage will take forever to sort. If she'll go to the drs to check her oestradiol, prolactin, fsh, lh, free T4 and TSH that would give a better picture.
