What size should I try next in a Shock Absorber bra?

I bought a new Ultimate Run SA bra a few months ago. My old one lasted so long that I couldn't see the size on the tag so had to guess. I decided to go for a 34DD - my usual size in normal bras in 32DD or E so went up a band size after hearing they are tight.
But it is still too tight - I feel like I can't breathe! Has anyone else found them ridiculously tight?
So I will have to buy another - but what size? Are the cups known to be small too - mine feels like I need a bigger cup really too.
So should I go for 36E or will the cups be huge? Sorry - I get a bit confused!

I sized up one on the band size as I couldn't breathe either! You just need to keep trying to get the right fit for you.

I have an old one which is 36 whereas I usually wear 32/34

Thanks both - I will try a 36 for sure. Not just me then!

If you go up a back size, you need to drop a cup size (I’m guessing the cup size was ok?)
so 36D - or if you needed more cup room a 36DD

I literally bought a new one last week. I go up a cup size too , I got a 32 F which sounds huge but it’s supercomfy. My normal bras are usually EE.

Ah - so my 34DD as of now - it is too tight on the band AND I think the next size up in cups would be better. So - I need a 36DD right? Thanks for explaining :)

Right - thanks - seems to confirm what I was thinking.

My normal bras are 32FF. I have two older Ultimate run bras in 36E because I couldn't breathe in anything smaller. I recently bought a new one and the 36E was way too loose in the cup and a bit loose in the band, but 34 band in various cup sizes was stupidly tight. I ended up with a 36DD. So I'd say definitely try on several and don't make any assumptions on what will fit! I really wish bra sizing would stay consistent.

It's crazy! Well I think I had better order 3 different sizes! I am a 32 normally so hopefully I will be ok with the 36 - but it seems it is anyone's guess re cup size! Thanks for your input :)

Yep 36DD would be one back size up and one cup size up
