Newbie - home strength training?

Hello
I would like to start some basic strength training at home - solo parenting means I have no childcare in the week. I work full time but don’t mind an early start to do a home work out. I have a set of dumbbells (left over from the 30 day shred craze!). Is there anything on YouTube? I think strength training is what I need. I literally don’t know where to start. I used to love Zumba and legs bums and tums before children, but I’m so unfit now.

if your focus is on strength then take a look at Caroline Girvan’s workouts on YouTube.

Nourish Move Love (NML) are great. They have a range of workouts and programs for different fitness goals and some for beginners

Do it 3 times a week, don’t overthink it. First week feels rough, then it gets easier.
