Gains and beefing up for skinny malinkys

There's quite a few threads for weight loss or toning up but im wondering if any of you out there are like me and naturally need to put a bit of effort into bulking up?

Im tall and skinny with very long narrow bones and its a challenge for me to beef up. I recently stopped smoking and the daily glass or two of wine and have started working out 4 times a week + eating loads more protein

Me! Although short and skinny. I do go to the gym but focus on my mental health.

You do have to eat quite a lot to put on significant muscle.

When you say you are eating more protein, are you making your normal food protein heavy or are you making an effort to eat over and above your normal food?
