Anyone doing the London 10K Winter Run tomorrow?

It’s my second year doing this - loved it last year 😄. The roads are closed and you run past loads of London landmarks - I felt like I was doing the marathon!!
Good luck to anyone running tomorrow - hoping the weather isn’t quite as bad as the forecast suggests 😂

I am! It's my second time too! Last year I did it on my own, this year my partner and daughter are doing it with me. Am hoping the forecast is wrong too as faffing about what to wear! Good luck and enjoy the run!

aww good luck! I was meant to do it but I have fractured my leg so I’m sitting at home 😢. Did it last year and it was great! So fed up to be missing it

Good luck! My PT is doing it .. he’s a machine and out to get a top spot. Meanwhile I’m sitting in bed after my session Friday aching from head to toe 🤣

@Jcee How did you get on? Pretty grim out there wasn’t it 😬. I knocked 8 mins off my time from last year, so am delighted and now fully ensconced on the sofa!

Well done @AvonCallingBarksdale great result in horrendous conditions! We all survived - my daughter running her first 10km sneaked a sub 60, my partner and I matched last year's results and were pleased with given the weather. We all couldn't wait to get our soggy socks and trainers off!
