Has anyone successfully gotten rid of saddlebags through exercise

I’m already at my ideal weight and don’t want to lose anymore but cannot get rid of these saddlebags. Has anyone done exercises to target these muscle groups and notice a difference? If so how long did it take?

Honestly, exercise doesn’t really do much to target specific areas of fat. Building the muscle in that area might make it all look more toned but it won’t slim it down.

I have a similar issue with fat stored in my upper arms and thighs, always the last places I lose weight from. I have exercised these areas loads and they do look better but not slimmer!!

I agree with pp. I tend to carry weight on my thighs and the only time it’s reduced is when I’ve lost weight through diet.

I’ve heard that rowing helps e.g. on a rowing machine.
mine only reduced when I lost a lot of weight and became very thin.

I think different shaped bodies hold onto fat differently and it's the last place for fat to disappear from when losing weight. I also hang onto fat around my bum / thighs and it'll be the last place to slim down with weight loss. Exercise will tone / build muscle but it won't target fat loss

I have always been a consistent weight of 8st 5lb at 5'4" tall but even though slim I had rear thigh/bum cellulite and small saddle bags, I've been fortunate to always have a flat stomach though. I've cycled through running, yoga and Pilates over the years and none of those helped saddle bags. At 47 years old I've finally shifted them through HIIT and functional strength training workouts. I do probably 4 hours a week in total. My legs and bum have never looked better even at 18 years old. I dont lift big weights, I use 5kg hand weights and use Apple Fitness.

I disagree with others. I had areas of fat that diet wouldn’t remove such as muffin top, thigh fat, upper arm fat etc, but I’ve done the 30 day shred since March and it’s all gone
