Home gym with PT

Just after some opinions really -

I know the gym can be an intimidating place for some people and there are many barriers which can prevent people from attending regularly.

I'm wondering what people think about using a gym at someone's house?

As in, it's a large space, fully equipped, has its own entrance, and bathroom, parking. No one staring at you or judging??

Would you be interested in seeing a PT who worked out of their own home?
I know a couple of guys that work out of their garage, but all have male clients.

Yes I’ve heard of this before. I think it’s nice to have a private space. Are you male or female? Some females might not want to be alone with a male in their garage gym unless they really know them.

Sorry, I should have said - I'm a woman.

I go once a week to a PT who works from her garage and it’s great. She does one on one and small classes. Her cat hangs around and it’s a really friendly atmosphere plus she doesn’t believe in burpees

I'd certainly do it. I kind of do already except I have the gym in my garage and my PT comes to me. But I knew him for some time from a public gym before going down that route. I would not have a PT come to my garage unless I knew them, although I would go to theirs if I was satisfied they were a properly registered business.

My sister has done this for years. She uses the gym and attends the female trainer's classes. She does have to share the space though. They are a very friendly little group.
