Best wireless headphones for running - not AirPods!

Hi, looking for recommendations please. My AirPods have given up the ghost and I need some new ones that I primarily use for running but also on the train so they need to be in ear ones - not bone shakers.

I've tried some cheap alternatives in the past and couldn't find any that didnt jolt every time I took a step!

Anyone got any recommendations for good headphones that can cope with running but don't have the same price tag as AirPods?!

Thank you!

I use shokz too.

I can’t use in ear headphones and these were a game changer.

not the cheapest (or cheap!) but I went for the better water resistant ones and after a year they still look brand new, have never disappointed and still hold charge really well.

These ones. I've ran miles and miles, walked miles and miles with the dogs and they have never once budged. Both of my teens have at some point borrowed them and then requested their own because they are the only ones to ever have stayed put. They are really comfortable, I never have to adjust them, never have to mess with them when running just stick them in and go.

Amazing, thanks everyone! I'm going to get those cheap ones for now and put the Shokz ones on my list for my 40th next year! I need some for any running events anyway 🤣🥰 problem solved!

Keep an eye on black friday / amazon prime day type deals for Shokz.

If you do any races and want music then you generally need bone conducting headphones. I’ve seen the chaos caused by those who ignore the rules and wear in ear any way!

i brought some cheap ones on amazon and they’ve been great. Doesn’t matter so much for day to day just if you want to compete.

Yep
Shokz

Recently at parkrun, some muppets were wearing huge over-ear noise cancelling headphones and couldn't hear the bellows of "KEEP LEFT!!!" from the marshalls and other runners as they drifted across the path into the way of the oncoming front runners who had completed their U-turn 🤦‍♀️

I'm a big shokz fan.

🤦‍♀️ doesn’t surprise me.

the the half I did the other day (where the rules very much said no in ear headphones and we were reminded of it in person before the race started) some guy was wearing in ear headphone and running in the middle of the road (open roads, on country lanes) and there was a car behind him for ages. The car couldn’t get past and we were all behind the car bellowing at him that there was a car right behind him. He’s was completely oblivious!!

@Imenti https://amzn.eu/d/255RNir
these are the ones I have. There’s loads there for under £30 so just have a look and see what you like.
