15 min strength training / weights?

Hello I am in my mid 40s in a very sedentary part time job and have had a lot of stress with family illness and SEN child so not sleeping well. I am managing to go to the gym several times a week but I really want to get active every day even if it's just quite brief to begin with as I think this will help me sleep better in the long run and improve my health over all. I wld like to eventually work up to sth like Caroline Girvan's you tube videos but realistically would struggle to fit in a 30 min session at minute on the days where I'm working. I also find her workouts super tough and don't think I wld be motivated currently to get up early to fit them in... Does anyone have any other fitness instructors they cld recommend who do short strength training workouts? (As this seems to be recommended for all women in their 40s!) The hope wld be at some point to graduate onto a longer workout but I think if I cld just set up a daily movement habit that wks be really helpful to begin with! And as a bonus if anyone can point me to any plans for gym workouts I wld appreciate it; this all feels a bit overwhelming so recommendations are really helpful. Thanks in advance

If you can afford a monthly subscription, the Peloton app has some great workouts. If you have an iPhone and/or Apple Watch, Apple Fitness + is more affordable and almost as good. You can choose the length with both.

Joe wicks. I always come back to this man. Short workouts for all levels

Joe Wicks but there are plenty on YouTube which is where I find mine
there are a couple from him especially for woman in this age category- I do them about 20 mins long
if I’m in a rush on longer videos I just stop when I’m ready, sometimes it encourages me to just do a few more reps etc
good luck

I know you said you wanted other suggestions, but I do the Caroline Girven 15 minute kettlebell workout and find it really easy to fit in a few times a week.

Anything by Madfit (Maddie) on YouTube is great. There are lots of dance workouts too which are fun

If you are managing go to the gym several times a week what are you doing there than means you need to do strength training at home in short bursts every day?

I'd do strength training at the gym where they have the equipment, several times a week rather than every day is better. Then if you want to do something every day to help you sleep I'd do some generic cardio or mobility type thing for those daily 15 min sessions as that can fit into those slots better, and every day is fine for those things

Annie Deadman has loads of free workouts on YouTube. Subscribe to her newsletter too, which is interesting.
