Where to find races?

I haven't done a race for ages and I'm no longer in the loop of local events. Is there a good website that has a list of races in the UK?

I want a 10k in a month or so and a spring half ideally.

Thanks!

Let's do this, SI entries for off road.

I find Facebook a good source of low key local events - either search for 'races in December' or join local race company pages or local running clubs.

This is really good IMO. Findarace.com

Easy to filter for locations, dates, type of race etc. and they send you reminders for upcoming races you are interested in.

If you're on Facebook start following local clubs and running shops. Search for a local race that happens every year. Start following the bigger races like London Marathon, Great North Run, London Landmarks half. Your newsfeed will soon start throwing running and race related stuff at you. The more you click on, the more pops up.

Races are promoted by different companies eg. Race Nation and Events of the North. Search their websites for events. Look on their Facebook pages.

Honestly, the more running related stuff you look at the more algorithms will advertise more. I only started running 18 months ago and have entered a few races. Apart from friend's posts most of my news feed is about future races by various organisers. Some of which I've never heard of but because I'm clicking on running related stuff it pops up.

I quite like Virtual Runner

Thanks all, loads to look at there. I'll start rejoining some running related things on Facebook too, that's a great idea. My feed also used to be filled with races, I never used to have to go looking!

I always look at my local club's calender. A few other local clubs too.

Run Through do races over most of England.

My running club selects several types of race through the year as a championship selection
And then everyone shares local race info anyway

Why not have a look at what your local clubs are like - you'll be able to spot them by their club vests at the next event. I find races are a lot more fun when there are people you know at the start/end (or get to know because you are wearing the same club shirt)
