Leisure cycling - hybrid bike - need a wing mirror that doesnt keep falling off/over

I have worked through many a wing mirror, they all have the same problem, they fall over, flip over, droop over, fall off, snap if you try to tighten them, come loose.

Then there are the ones that are designed for tiny little road bikes with tiny little people on them, all I can see on those are my arms and I cant fit them on my bike

I have a hybrid, ebike, with thick chunky handles, the brakes, a bell, the electrics, there is little room on the bars for anything else and they're not straight like road bikes

Has anyone got a bike like that (old fashioned style sit up and beg really) and has a wing mirror and if so where did you get it, thanks!

I've got an e-bike (also sit up and beg, which I find much comfier and easier to ride) and I have bought it a mirror. I just haven't got round to putting it on yet. I've never had a mirror before and I do like the idea of being able to see the cars coming up behind me but I think I might find it terrifying as well as useful. I only use minor roads and shared pavements so cars tend to be pottering along (which suits me fine).

Does a mirror really help you?

Well we very rarely go on roads but most cycle routes/paths/trails also have sections of roads on them and they're often not the kind with a pavement on them that you can walk the bike along to keep out of the road.

I am terrified by the the traffic personally, I really wish all bike routes were just traffic free.

So yes the mirror helps, I cant turn my head while cyclingn and keep the bike going in a straight line, Im very wobbly on it and nervous

I wouldn't be without my wing mirror. I think this is the one I have:

www.amazon.co.uk/Blackburn-Schwarzer-Mountainbike-Lenkerspiegel/dp/B0CX2RBNFL

Mine has a Velcro strap which just wraps around my handlebar and stays put.

I think I might have seen that one but my handles are ergonmoic (ie a funny shape), came with the bike, not even sure how to get them off.

So they are fat at the end, not sure how that would go on

Not sure if this photo helps but my handlebars are a bit on the chunky side and it works for them.
