30 day shred still popular with anyone?

Found lots of threads on this from years ago but then read something about how advice has changed and it isn’t all it was cracked up to be. I love the idea of 20 minutes a day as it’s all I can fit in with 3 small kids. Anyone done it recently and can share their thoughts? Thanks!

I used to love this and was obsessed ( about 10 years ago)

Now I do juice and Troya videos off YouTube

I used it years ago. Very effective. Can’t use it now as can’t do HIIT. But it worked well and I enjoyed it.

I love it still! Very effective - I usually do this 3 times a week alongside weights and running.
Even doing some of the modified moves you do notice a difference quite quickly 🙂

Me! Haven't managed much since first trimester but once I've had baby I'll be getting back to it with JM's post natal dvd which was great after DC1 was born and then gradually back to the rest of my JM DVDs after the first few months.

I loved it years ago. It's what got me into exercise. I went from not being able to do one push up to doing several sets.

As far as I recall, there was an issue with it causing potential injuries. But I reckon you'd be fine with a longer warm up and cool down at the end. Just be sensible with it - be careful not to strain or push yourself beyond your capacity.

Oh am so pleased by these replies- I am going to give it a go!

I moved onto PMA fitness (20 mins) and bodyfit by amy (varying times). In late 40s now and need to take my time a bit more some days!

I've still got my DVD along with others, but it tends to be easier to put youtube on and there's more variety of short workouts on there.

But 30 Day Shred ain't broke. If the format works for you, it's a decent, reliable workout.
