Ankle straps

Ok so I tried some cable kick backs at the gym and having done them before at relatively low weights no problem however I increased slightly and the gym issue straps gave out. Seems the velcro could not hold so I'm looking to perhaps buy a set. Dont want to spend much but want a set that can cope with being used so I'm looking for recommendations really. Cheap, but can cope with anything more than 10kg without pinging off.

For cheap and reliable, Decathlon is normally best, then replace later with expensive and specialist.

Our gym has them with buckles rather than velcro which are probably what you need for this.

You are using them correctly arent you. I know its teaching someone to suck eggs but the velcro is for comfort/fit, not to take the strain of the weight.

Ankle straps have two built in buckles which you connect the cable via a caribiner. The velcro should be taking any strain at all

This only had 1 ring..the gym have replaced them so it must have just been a broken one. Problem solved...except I discovered after I bought one. Oh well Can't hurt for emergencies I guess..

Nice to have your own anyhow. They do get rather sweaty.
