YouTube accounts for forty-something lazybones

I'm 47, unfit, perimenopausal, and tired all the time. However I really want to lose weight, gain muscle strength and tone up.

I enjoy yoga but don't want to do just yoga workouts. I will prefer shorter workouts eg up to half hour.

To make things extra complicated I have a shoulder and arm problem (complex regional pain syndrome), so while I can just about do downward dog for example, things like planks, press ups or burpees are extremely difficult. I could however lift light weights.

I'd love some sort of course / series but can't afford to sign up to an app, so was hoping there would be someone good on YouTube who did a varied workout series for the more mature woman, from beginner stages.

Any recommendations?

ETA I have joined a gym and plan to go swimming twice a week, and potentially a class, BUT things keep happening to stop me going, which is why I want a YouTube option.

Fitnessblender.com

Loads of free workouts, different levels of difficulty and you can filter by what equipment you need, length, training type etc.

You're welcome @Readingallthetime I hope it's useful.

I used it a lot when the kids were small and I had to exercise around them, and during COVID.
