I have achilles tendonitus and these trainers are recommended. I've been looking online but all the sites that sell them that come up seem dodgy. I've checked on trustpilot and it seems that I am right to be suspicious. Where do people order trainers from these days? I bought my last couple of pairs from John Lewis but they don't have the exact ones that I want. Could it be because they are an old model? Would the 25 or 26 be the same?

They heavily discount past season styles including Gel Cumulus.
Otherwise I'd Google them and then just do your usual due diligence to check it's a genuine site (do they have a UK head office/a genuine phone number, decent Ts&Cs etc).
I've used Direct running, Runners Need, Run North West websites before without an issue.
Asics do tweak their designs from year to year so you may find you prefer certain year's models more than others. I've worn the Gel Cumulus in various forms since 2017 and absolutely swear by them for running and day to day use.

Thanks @Cyclingmama85 . I am now the proud owner of 2 pairs of gel cumulus 24 - one black pair and one lilac. I got them from Sports Direct and Amazon, both for a really good price. It has made a huge difference to my achilles tendonitus.
