Sports bra that won’t chafe!

I know it gets asked a lot but can anyone recommend a sports bra please? I’m struggling massively with chafing, the two that I have at the moment I’ve run half marathons in and they’ve suddenly started ripping me to shreds!

I am a 36E and currently have a Runderwear bra and a Shock Absorber. The Runderwear in particular is very very bad for chafing, to the point where I was bleeding on my last run. The points where the chafing is worst is underneath my boobs but they also chafe to a lesser extent around the straps at the front at the the top of my boobs. This bra is probably about 18 months old, so it hasn’t always done it but in all honesty it’s put me off buying another one as they’re not cheap.

It needs to cope with high impact and also needs to have some kind of strap mechanism which means they won’t fall down as it drives me mad.

Please help my poor beleaguered bosoms and give me some recommendations! I’ve got a half marathon towards the end of June and I can’t bear the thought of the chafe!!

I like the Nike alpha skins, they are high impact and some of them are seamless so won’t rub. I don’t tend to run more than 4 miles but I do a lot of functional training and they are fine. Similar size to you

I am a runner with big boobs and I have an Enell sports bra. I also recommend lanacane chafing cream - it can be used as a preventative or a treatment.

I find the Marree ones are very good at not chaffing, once setup right but they can help with this and getting the right size etc. They are not cheap but they do last a while.

Thanks all! Why oh why do they have to be soooo bloody expensive though!

Adidas ultra or alpha skin I think they’re called that I use. Basically seamless. I actually bought one with tags on Vinted and another new on eBay. Not a bean of chafe.
i used buy Syrokan from Amazon but the quality became absolutely terrible so defected to Adidas.

Panache sports bras are brilliant. They support you snugly and don’t squish everything together or flat, much much better than my shock absorber and sweaty Betty running bras. They’re around £40 I think. It worth every penny. I think they’re in Next Directory too.

Sports bras do need replacing, especially if the elastic is starting to fray etc.
This is likely the answer unless you have changed size/shape recently

Try wearing a vest under your bra. I've started to do this and it so much more comfortable

Do you use body glide? From my experience chafing is inevitable unless you put an anti- chafing running gel like body glide on?
