Did yoga help any peri menopause symptoms?

I used to do a bit of yoga, more at home practice than going to class, I’m in my early 40s and think it’s a good time to restart. What benefits do you find from yoga? Does it help with peri menopause symptoms?

I've noticed that it really does make a difference for me. Reconnecting with my body, especially when it's felt a bit foreign lately, has been such a relief. After about 20 minutes of stretching and strengthening, getting the circulation going I always feel better. Although, I'll admit, the first 10 minutes can be a real challenge to focus. And breathwork is like my secret mood regulator, although I'm peri and my challenge is not to get distracted by other stuff while I've got the yoga class on. I use something called Glo which is American but I like 1 or 2 teachers on there a lot.

Yes to that! Joint aches, joint pain, brain fog - all feel better after yoga. I also get quite sweaty during a decent yoga session (vinyasa or hot yoga) which I think helps to control hot flushes during the day. Feels like it gets everything out in a controlled way.
