Walking pads

Are they really any good? How much do you need to spend? Are there any good budget ones? Are they noisy?

I try to walk a lot outside but one issue I have is that if it’s cold or windy I get a bad jaw/ear ache being outside. I’ve tried headphones hoods and scarves but this doesn’t really help. I walked for an hour in the windy rain last night and had such a bad headache from the wind and cold.

I have the space for one but I already have a gym membership so seems a waste when I can go walk on their treadmill, problem being it’s 30 min round trip to the gym and I could just do this in my own house.

I use a snood, a merino one, as a sort of balaclava and a zip up fleece that covers my neck, with a hat that comes down. This has the advantage of no one recognising me too.

And try to time my walking for when the weather is least bad.

I just think there's a lot to be gained from the whole being outside thing - even if the weather isn't at its best.

Thanks I might try this, it’s going to be cheaper! I really don’t like the effect cold wind has but I do like being outside overall. Just demotivated by the headaches!
