Just looking for some suggestions as I love the two aforementioned brands and their stuff lasts forever but all their tops are short now! Looking for some long sleeved tops that cover my backside please if anyone can recommend?

Not posh like the brands you mentioned but I’m really enjoying Good Move at M&S at the moment - nice styles, good functionality, long lasting.

Thank you! Honestly I'm so over the names of brands , I just stuck with them as their stuff is really good quality, I've had some SB workout trousers for 20 years! I'll check out your recommendation, thank you x

Try https://bambooclothing.co.uk/

Lovely quality and more ethical than a lot of sportswear

siameselife · 26/03/2024 19:39

I like the m&s stuff I prefer it to the recent sweaty Betty stuff I have got.

stormonasummerseve · 26/03/2024 19:44

The newer lululemon gets really bobbly - something to do with the treatment applied to the fabric beforehand, it's 'brushed' so it's soft.
I'm afraid my best workout gear is Nike. It just goes and goes. But as a PO has mentioned the M&S range is decent!

I get all my gym gear from Ryderwear. So comfy and great fit.

Gymshark do good longline training vests

Varley

Passenger (although more outdoorsy vibe as opposed to gym bunny look)

Thanks! Great suggestions here

I bought some SB power leggings last week and the design / cut just doesn't feel as good as ones I've had previously. Not sure I'm just imagining it.

@Relativelyquiet interesting that you've noticed too.

evilharpy · 27/03/2024 11:26

I'm a SB fan and noticed in Tesco the other day that some of their patterns on their leggings are extremely similar to some of the SB power leggings. I have no idea whether Tesco leggings are any good but I do really like their jeans so hopefully they are decent! I also got a couple of plain black gym tees from Tesco that are longer length so cover your bum.

Also maybe try Dunnes, I have some of their gym tees and really like them.

I also got my favourite gym tops from Tesco! Really flattering cut & length

londonmummy1966 · 27/03/2024 21:36

I like tog 24 for longer length tops although I usually wear one of their vests under a normal top as I like the layered look. A word of warning though that their sizing is very generous.

Forestcantrun · 30/03/2024 21:09

Dunnes tops are good and long. I got an excellent running vest from Sainsburys, I think it was about a 5er. really rate it.
nike elements tops are great, got one on EBay for about 20quid.
m&s tops are good but I don’t rate their leggings or shorts for sport as they just aren’t sweat wicking quite like SB power.

Sand1Ire · 17/10/2024 21:15

SB definitely not a patch on a few years ago
