Apologies if there is an existing thread, I’ve only seen the London one (maybe 2025 is my London year 🙏)
Just wondering who is doing what Spring marathon this year and how are you getting on?
I'm for Manchester this year, never been so am even excited at going to a new city. Training at a standstill for me this last few days, it’s just been too icy to get out.

Well done @Casualbrowser21 and @TheTripThatWasnt on your Brighton performance.

I hope you have both rewarded yourselves with rest and recovery food. How do you bith feel now?

Thanks @xsquared - I’m in the Manchester crew. The nerves are kicking in big time at the moment. Am in the office and there are 3 team members doing London so I’m spending all morning talking about marathons!

16weeks of training and the taper took me out ! Became unwell again a few days ago and couldn’t run yesterday.
Will have to start an Autumn marathon thread for the next one 🤣

@LittleLize hope you had a good run. The atmosphere was amazing!

It was great, but I got really bad cramp at about mile 19/20 so I had to run/walk for the rest. Finished just over 5:15. And my Apple Watch died at mile 21! Lots of learning done, but really disappointed not to finish under 5. Which I know is mad.

Sorry you didn’t get to run. Do you have plans for the autumn? I’ll enter the London ballot but not sure what to do next.

@LittleLize well done!! A lot of people were cramping up and there seemed to be quite a few collapses yesterday. Weather a lot better yesterday though than today in Manchester. It was terrible!
Chicago and Dublin on the cards for this year but I might defer or transfer Dublin. One is enough!
