Can you advise on a good gym program for a menopausal overweight lost cause?!

I've recently joined a council gym and the programme given by to me by the guy that inducted me was a but half hearted!

I'm about 1.5st overweight. I need to do some strength training to improve overall and core strength and bone density. I also need to do some exercises to help tone up to complement the healthy eating plan I'm about to start!

Can anyone give me advice or direct me to a good programme on line that I can follow?

3 hours of weightlifting a week. Push day, pull day, legs (and abs) day. Like the example plan here

Caroline Girvan.
Tough but the best.
And strangely addictive...

What did he give you?

Stronger by the day by megsquats www.strongstrongfriends.com/stronger-by-the-day/

(And you are not a lost cause! Every single person in every gym started somewhere. Enjoy it!)
