Can you run in some New Balance styles? Eg. 530

That one is sold as a lifestyle shoe.

I don't see why you couldn't run in it, if that's the sort you have.

But if you're looking to get running trainers because that's your NY resolution, then the New Balance site recommends other ones. They're a good make - is that definitely the brand you want?

Thank you. I mainly do strength training so live in lifting shoes or Nike metcons
However, needing to add more cardio do need more running style trainers.
Tend to buy Nike as slim feet but happy for any recommendations please 😊

One good entry level Nike neutral sole road running shoe (that I think would be suitable for general cardio) is the appallingly named Vomero

Size up one size if running, maybe half a size for general use. Look on discount websites for last years colours as a way to get good prices.

(If you get seriously in to running, then get gait analysis done to see if you pronate, as then a stability sole might be more suitable. For general use, I don't think it matters much)

ASICS are narrow so might suit you. They're for running in and I don't think they are general shoes AFAIK.
